Fryday.
DoSeN't iT PiSs YoU oFf WhEn PeOpLe (GiRlZ) wRiTe LiKe ThIs? I saw a girl facebook status update that was spelled out like that, she went to my high school, has a child and is ugly. ThAt ShOuLd ExPlAiN ThAt!!! OmG!!!!
Anyway, I wanted to give her a virtual slap to the face. Hope you are getting of to a stupendous Friday. I did, Cass and I went to spin class this morning at 5:45. It was good, not anywhere near as hot in the damn room as last night. I swear it was touching 85 degrees in the room last night, and I felt like I had jumped in a pool when I was done. The guy that taught today had a strong resemblence to:
So I had some college guys spend the night at my house last night. There was 5 of them, all were frat rats at Ole Miss. They wanted to come out to Beale and away from Oxford for one of their birthdays. Well they arrived around 10:15PM last night, we chatted for a few minutes before I took them to the bar. I texted them all my address and gave them the gate code to my neighborhood so if they got split up they could be returned safely. So alarm goes off. Wake up, start chugging water in preperation for spin class. Change. Walk down the stairs and see 5 snoring bodies. I was like, phewwww everyones here. I didn't hear them come in. One of which (same in pictures above) was on his knees, face in a pillow, arms down under the pillow if you could picture that. I hit him with a pillow asking if he was ok and he mumbled and assumed a normal sleeping position. I just laughed. I walk into my kitchen to find broken glasses, empty snack packs, chip crumbs and ketchup on the floor. I laugh again and think about how bad ass it would be to be back in school. GAH! Anyway, go to spin, finish spin and on the way back Cass and I talk about the 5 guys that stayed at our house. Well I said, "Dude, one of the guys is notorious for just passing out in random places" Well we get back and attempt to open the door leading into the house from the garage but hit a body. I look down and its Chase. He had moved from the living room, onto the cold ass tile floor in the kitchen and had the dryer going. "Chase, what the hell are you doing?" (Ian) --- "Uhhhh my boxers were really cold, so I wanted to heat them up." (Chase in a mumbled fashion) I just laughed and kept walking. Amazing. College. Gotta love it.
Weather looks pretty terrible for the weekend. Mix of Snow/Sleet/Rain this weekend in the Mid-South. I was going to head to Oxford. But not anymore. Canceled the ole Crawfish order and think I am going to opt out for the Beale St. Zydeco Fest tomorrow night, sounds pretty fun. Love dem damn cajuns now.....
Damn Cajuns
The Shrimper and Head Cajun
Anyone doing anything fun this weekend? Lastly, what better way to start your day or put your day on hold than to listen and watch some good ole classic Ari Gould. That guys is THE MAN!

Back in action
Sorry about the gap in the ole blog folks, but I have been on the road covering Northeast MS the past two days and fighting off a head cold which has been brutal. But I am back in the game.
First train of thought for today comes from me watching the Biggest Loser last night.
They kicked a guy off last night for losing 100 pounds in 8 weeks, that is down right amazing. I like it once they kick the person off and they show his/her story of how they got to be so fat and then what they look like today. He had just run a full marathon with his hot wife who probably weighed 110 pounds. Well that got me thinking, they should make a show with the bases of it getting an average guy, and turning him into a stud physically. I mean mentally, I am there, now I just need a little fine tuning on my physique and I would be the full package, but thats ok I will just stick to my spin class, but if any of you out in cyber space find a show like that, please let me know.
I hade the opportunity to be in Oxford after work on Tuesday to catch part of the opening game from renovated Oxford University Stadium/Swayze Field and it was amazing. I would say it was 95% done with some minor work left to be done, but it is just a different setting, it's almost like its not real, like I don't believe that it has happened. We started off slow, but the bats came alive. The left side of the infield doesn't look strong, we need Button back, none of the guys have an arm like Coghlan, Cozart or Tolbert. We have a big test this weekend in TCU as they recently beat a top 5 team in Cal St. Fullerton.
Other things happening in Oxford....
Drink specials that didn't occur while I was in school are happening now. New bar next to the lanes on Jackson, which used to occupy Rio Grande Mexican joint is now a bar called Brass Monkey and is supposed to have the feel of a Flying Saucer. They had $2 pitchers, $.75 draft and $1 long necks -- with no cover. People I have talked to said its pretty neat on the inside. I have yet to go in but will report back on Monday.
Another new place is the po-boy and daquri place called Funkys, I drove by it and it was slammed, the only place in Otown where you can get a hurricane or a frozen drink other than a margarita or frozen belleni.
How come it happens that whenever you leave somewhere cool stuff happens: IE: Elementary School: New Play Ground -- Middle School: New Gym -- High School: New Baseball Uniforms and Gear -- College -- New bars, coach, drink specials, stadium, indoor basketball facility. Geez, this isn't fair!!! I need to be a lifelong learner.
Looking forward to this evenings episode of Hells Kitchen... Gordon Ramsey is the man.
What did you give up for Lent? Me, Cussing, fried foods and bread. I got no support from anyone when I mentioned cutting out the booze for 40 days, people thought I was crazy. Anyway, back to work before I go get my little league coaching ID card made and turn some paperwork into the parks department.

Munday.
Just when we were all getting comfy at home this weekend, BAM Monday. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Pretty Chill Friday night here in the Mid South. If you have not seen My Best Friends Girl, DO IT. Freaking Hilarious. My favorite line is when he is at the Strip Club on a date, and the stripper is giving him a lap dance. She is grinding on him and is bent over (ass in his face) when he looks toward his date and says, "looks like she wants to play whos at the door, o I don't know let me look through the peep hole". It was funny, vulgar, and just down right a good flick for all to see.
I went to spin class early Saturday morning. I swear those damn seats are imbeded with a God Awful smell that carries with what you wear, it is terrible. But spin was good. I burned some goo, it was suprisingly crowded for a Saturday at 9am, more so than the midweek sessions. Music was terrible this time around, but I am making a cd with some boner jamz that will be good for the ole spin class. I have lost 13-15 LBS since Jan 5, depending on the time of day and day of the week that I weigh. Goal is to drop 30. It WILL be attained. I think I am on track, and this is going to probably take 4-6 months I think to drop the 30 though. I certainly don't think my saturday night helped out the cause.
We went to the Phoenix Club party, where we saw the following band perform. I have seen them before, they put on a good show.
I began the afternoon drinking some margaritas at the house and watching the Rebels destroy Georgia in basketball. They were pretty stout. Then went and ate dinner at Orleans on Front, which was OK, ambieance was good, but under staffed and my meal choice wasn't great, Gumbo and Salad. Hey, I wanted something light before going out. Walked from there to the party which was off 2nd and Monroe downtown. If I were a weatherman, I would have guessed there to be 350-500 people there. They had hunch punch which I dominated, bobbing my head on the balcony and people watching. Left there and went to a bar on Beale. Got tanked and headed to Denny's with some folks, where Cass said he would pay for my food if he could order the food for me and I would have to eat it with my hands behind my back. Well having been marinating for most of the night, I thought it was a grand idea. Not so much, but I dominated what he ordered. A double cheeseburger with an ommlett and hashbrowns on it, with a side of fries and toast. Not a damn thing left on my plate. Yea I felt skinny, and was burping burger and eggs the next morning. Good choice Ian, cerainly helped the diet.
Rebels lost the series in baseball, falling to Mercer and USA. Not a good start, but at the same time, the guys will realize, that just because they put the uniform on does not make them good. Championship caliber teams, find ways to win. Now, I don't think their is anyone out there that thinks a team in baseball can go undefeated, so I am not really all too concerned right now about our season as many people on Ole Miss message boards seem to be. We lost a series. In February. Season ends in May folks with 4-5 games a week. Newsflash, we will lose again. Baseball could be one of the most balanced games in sports, on anygiven day, at anygiven time anyone can beat anyone. That is why the championship is 7 games. We just have to learn from our mistakes, produce offensivley and get back on the horse. I hope this was a humbling weekend for our team. I also hope our fan base realizes not to judge a season from one weekend. Lets wait a little longer before we can really say how good or bad we might be. .......

Memory Lane
FRIDAY!!!
Gahhhh the memories of college....
Cass and I were talking about it this morning on G-chat. The memories. Especially on a beautiful day like today they just hit that much closer to home. To all you kids still in school .... stay in school. Don't join the world of bills and taxes just yet. Skip class on beautiful days, or rainy days. There is always some excuse to miss class. Just do enough to get by, all you need is a diploma. Remember this "It's not the grades you make, it's the hands you shake" live by those words, and meet as many people as you can, you don't know who might have a dad/mom/cousin/friend with excellent connections to land you tickets to an event or a JOB. Anyway, instead of class, go play golf. Then go back to the frat house and grab a bite to eat, maybe watch some wild boyz or ali g with the boys and crack open a cold one. By the time y'all are done it will be dinner time, and then get the engines going for a night of fun. Go out as often as possible! Marcus and I had a contest senior year of college to see who could go out the most I went out 26 nights in a row and he beat me going out I think 33 times. Anyway, it was awesome. Go on as many road trips as you can, I think while I was in college I visited just under 50 different college campuses and went to the Daytona 500, Texas vs Ohio St, Michigan Notre Dame, Georgia vs. Tenn, Colorado vs Kansas St. and went to USC, UCLA, Arizona St, and Boise St to name a few. Go on every football road trip you can, go to random tuesday night home basketball games, why? Because your in college and it provides a reason to go out. Stay in Oxford for the summer! Some of the best times I had were just going to class for like an hour a day, then going to the pool with a blender and making daquris and playing pool volleyball all day. I looked darker than a leather couch at one point in the summer. Enjoy the Friday lunches at the fraternity house, seeing who would be escorting a female friend out the door, come in with the same clothes from the night before, who had writing on their face and just tell stories from the night before. College was simply amazing. Make a fool of yourself, be "that guy", go up to the dance floor at the bar and dance like you know what the hell you are doing because its going to be your only shot too. Best time of your life! I am just in a trance thinking about it now......
Well the Rebels won't be playing TCU in football next year. Apparently we had the deal ironed out last Friday to play on ESPN, but when they got the chance to play Clemson instead, they ditched us for them. Leaving us to likely play a 1-AA school. Thats ok, we will wax that Frog ass next weekend when TCU comes to town.
Rebs play UGA on Fox Sports Saturday at 4pm. Rebs play today in Mobile at 3pm for the opening game on our road to Omaha.

Mississippi State Baseball is looking to start the new season. Look at the back of their score board and see what the leg humpers did now.

Thursdays Rant
So I think most of you can gather, that I like to post videos, as we are all visual learners and they are probably more entertaining than some of my posts, SOME. Anyway, lets start the morning off right. What would my blog be without something to do with the almighty Ole Miss Rebels. Some of my links choose to work, and some don't for some reason. Anyway, Cliff Notes of the link is that Rivals is talking about Regional Projections for College Baseball. They have the Rebs hosting, but not as a national seed. They also have us paired up with Texas, assuming the win their regional, and we win our regional we would be heading to Austin for a rematch of the 05 Regional in Oxford. Other National seeds : UNC, UGA, UC-Irvine, Texas A&M, LSU, Cal St, and Rice. The Rebs season opener is tomorrow at 3PM in Mobile for the Coca Cola Classic. Look for Nathan Baker to come back from his season slump and have a breakout year. Will Kline and Scott Bittle both had terrible Sophomore years, to come back and have stellar careers. I also see Bukvich becoming a weekend starter when it is all said and done, and maybe even contribute at the plate. Defensively folks, we are strong. Bats should come alive, and I think you will see the Rebs become a complete team and maybe even become a national seed, the series in Baton Rouge will be crucial for that.

Diamond Rebs making some noise in the bigs.....from milb.com
"Chris Coghlan: A first-round pick, the left-handed hitter could be Florida's second baseman of the future, should the team decide after this year to not retain Uggla. In Spring Training, Coghlan, who batted .298 at Double-A last year, will also get a look at third base. He's regarded as a pure hitter, but not a big power threat. "

They talk about the music scene in Oxford picking up steam, as I would agree that the LYRIC has quickly helped Oxford's night life. For those who haven't been to Oxford lately, it has certainly grown and gotten more bars and restaurants. West Jackson Ave is has probably at least 10 more restaurants than when I was in school. The square, since I graduated picked up Roosters, which is a blues bar and BBQ, awesome patio. The Red Roof Grill and Bar, also bluesy. The Downtown Grill added a huge bar downstairs. The somewhat recent renovation of the Library, has really made it the staple bar of Oxford. Lyric kicks ass. Then they are building a Daquri and Po Boy shop where L'Amore used to be. By football season Vieux Carrie should be complete which has been rumored to have a piano bar, and a fresh market. Oxford is alive and well. Gah, I miss that place.
This is what I did Friday, and it's as close to a rave as I think I will ever get, and it was amazing.
This gentlemen is a poet, please listen to his lyrics. I wonder if mario would play this on Friday nights at the library?
The Rebs basketball team beat the Vols yesterday. Well done. I really thought we would be done after we lost 3 starters to season ending knee injuries, but I must say, I have been impressed with the turn out of the season. But the SEC still blows at basketball, and I hope the Memphis Tigers lose everygame.
Well, time for you and me to get back to work. Maybe lunchtime will provide something non Ole Miss. Doubt it though.

Ahhh to be young again.....
The Mad Scientist. What a stud huh..... two from this guy.
I filed my taxes today and returned -$16. I was super duper excited about it. Someone once said the only two things in life you can count on are dying and taxes. I was for sure counting on a nice return.......as Jonah would say, "fuck you miss."
Funny read ... the band she saw is coming to Oxford. Should make for a good night if this happened haha.

Wednesdays -- Always thought it should be spelled Wensday.
Well Good Morning Folks,
Hopefully you are felling much better than me this morning. I feel like doodoo. And no I am not Hung Over. Ole mother nature has been playing tricks on the weather up in Memphis which has lead me to feel ill. Boofreakinwho huh, thats what I thought too, but I feel bad. Life goes on.
Wanted to Start off Ranking the SEC baseball stadiums for 2009
1. South Carolina -- Unreal --
http://southcarolina.rivals.com/photofeature.asp?SID=1017&fid=27019
2. Arkansas -- Very Nice, I will wait to move Swayze to this until I set foot in it next weekend
3. Ole Miss -- Awesome, but I think we could have done more.
http://www.olemisssports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=13045&SPID=748&DB_OEM_ID=2600&ATCLID=3668342
4. LSU -- it's nice, but also could have done much better. http://www.lsusports.net/PhotoAlbum.dbml?ATCLID=3664287&SPSID=27865&SPID=2173&PALBID=72698&DB_OEM_ID=5200
5. Auburn -- Plainsman Park is nice, but nobody goes to the games
6. Vandy -- Renovations should be complete, but it wasn't a substantial renovation
7. UGA -- kinda reminds me of old swayze, and I like the pine trees in the outfield
8. Alabama -- similar to UGA
9. MS State -- needs updating, but regardless packs out.
10. Florida -- Not bad, but considering its Florida.....
11. UK -- High School Park
12. UT -- Considering its UT -- Come on.....
Swayze will be amazing, but I still think we could have made it look a lot better. I am excited about next weekend vs TCU. Crawfish season is kickin off, ewwwieee. Pumped.

My roomates life is now like this..... it keeps me entertained to say the least, he is now the Spencer Pratt of Oxford.
Ben Moores said the economic condition is going to get worse, so you will see him looking like this soon. It's Ben and his girlfriend taking a spin in his new whip.
This is for a friend of mine in Houston who is looking for some advice on a guy. I will play the bartender and KT will play the female.
So the next couple of days COULD be fun in Memphis, if I was still in College. I will likely make one of these events. But I just can't do it like I used to, but back in my prime.....shoooot....

Tonight at Newbys
Tomorrow at Young Avenue

Lunch Time Ramblings
Went to Girl Talk Friday night, it was bad ass. I know on NAFOOM, they were talking about how terrible Girl Talk is and how every guy that went to see him is a douche bag, but most of those clowns are listening to a bunch of wierd jam band stuff, don't get me wrong, I like the jam band as much as the next guy or maybe not as much but still respect the fact that people have different opinions and likes. O NAFOOMERS..... Anyway, it was my first time in the LYRIC, and I came away impressed, very clean, spacious, despite the quantity of people inside and the fact that you can open a tab at any bar, and go to any of the 4 to get a drink. Fratastic! It was like a rave, people in a trance bobing their heads. It was pretty cool. Good job Girl Talk, now you can continue on to your more illustrious gigs in Germany, Australia, London, LA, New York and China while having made a stop in Gods country.
Must see video, Shaq is awesome, he jokes, has fun stared in Shazam and has killer moves.

Case of the Mondays
Top of the morning. Start off with a little food, found this and thought it might be useful to some Rebs out there in cyber space.
Yocona River Inn Steak Sauce
1/2 cup molasses
1 cup red wine
1/3 balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
Reduce the above and then add 1 stick of melted butter.
I have yet to try it so I can't say yay or nay to it, just thought I would Pass it along.
Next .... For all of you out there looking to cook dinner sometime this week, I got a quick and easy recipie for you.
-Grocery List --
1 - 18 oz can of Tomato Basil sauce
1 - Box of Sprial Pasta or any Pasta
2 - Tomatos Diced
1/2 Red Onion Diced
1- Bell Pepper Diced
1 -- Zuccini Cut in rounds thinly
3 -- Cloves Garlic Diced
Spices/Herbs
Oregano, Thyme, Fresh Cracked Pepper, Sea Salt, Basil, Season Salt (Herbs fresh if possible)
Boil Pasta -- If you need help with that, then continue eating out and disregard this.
In a decent sized sauce pan/skillet/fry pan/whatever you have -- over medium high heat add about 2 ounces of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Once you have diced the tomato, red onion, garlic, zuccini, bell pepper add to a mixing bowl and add spices. You will have to eye it here folks, I don't do measurements, I eye everything so you will too. Then transfer from mixing bowl to the skillet/pan/whatever. Stir. Should take about 10 minuetes. Everything is cooked so you don't have to worry about getting this to a certain temperature.
If you want to add grilled chicken --
Grab a mixing bowl, your chicken, EVOO, Fresh Cracked Pepper, Sea Salt, Fresh Rosemary, Oregano, Thyme and some dried italian seasoning combine and add about 2-3 oz of Chardonay/Sauvingon Blanc/White Wine and mix with your hands. Wash Hands, and the internal temp of the chicken when you take it off the grill should read 155 degrees. The chicken will continue to cook and the last thing you want is rubber chicken, and a lot of you probably eat rubber chicken, steak, pork or beef on a regular basis. Why? Well for starters, you don't own a meat thermometer. Go buy one. Otherwise you will be left leaving whatever you are cooking on the grill to long or not long enough. Also, you kids open the grill and let the heat out way to much. Flip any item only 4 times, leave it alone, let it work its magic. And by all means, NEVER press a piece of meat on the grill with a spatula thinking you are doing something right, you are releasing all the juices from the meat when you do that and if I catch you doing it I will give you a quick puch to the jugular for being a idiot. O and also, please dont use the same bowl/plate in which you had raw meat on to place your cooked meat. Go clean it and come back, I don't wanna get sick at your cook out.
Here is a video to help some of you out with your knife skills, and when you are at William Sonoma/Target/Bed Bath Beyond buying your meat thermometer for gods sake buy a decent chef/utility knife. You don't play golf with shitty clubs do you? Or have a crappy purse for you ladies out there, so show a little cooking savy and purchase a good piece of cutlery.

I was a loser and did nothing on Valentines Day. While some of you clowns took your hot dates to Red Lobster/Outback Steakhouse/Olive Garden thinking it would be romanitc and sweet. You know Goodman Road in Southaven was packed (AKA Skid Row) with all the fine, fine people of the area flooding the chains. I had Flying Fish Downtown .... It was good, I ususally get the fish tacos but got the Grilled Red Snapper with a Crawfish Chowder. All good except the Chowder was served cold, not intentionally either. O well I was hungry and I don't really ever complain or send things back at a restaurant unless things are just out of hand because once you are on the other side of things you understand how hectic things can get. It was good to see downtown Memphis alive though.
Well more to come later today, off to do some work.

Lunch Time Talks
So I just went to lunch with a good friend of mine that I spoke about previously, Brandon Hudspeth. He was driving through on his way to Nashville and we ate at a Tex-Mex place in Bartlett called Abuelos, a chain from Texas. He does not like to eat out with me, because I think everytime we go out to eat, it's Tex-Mex or Southwestern Style. I get mad because he calls queso, cheese dip. He gets mad because he, like others thinks all Texas people are the same and that we are crazy for thinking our Mexican Food is better. Well it is Brandon, and other people from the south who seem to think El Porton, El Charro or El (fill in the blank) are better than our food. Not a chance in hell, see we take a little pride in our food. Despite the 5 Texas Caliber Tex-Mex places I have been not having A single Mexican work in one, yet still manage to produce the level of food and atmosphere any snobby Texican is looking for.
1. Cozymels on Poplar in Memphis
2. Swankys on Poplar in Memphis
3. Abuelos in Bartlett
4. Cocina Superior in Birminham
5. SATCO in Nashville
I just don't understand how outsiders can think of the local mexican to be good.
a) they don't fry their own chips. Brutal.
b) they buy canned/jar salsa. Brutal
c) they call queso cheese dip, and its white. Epic Brutal.
d) they use table salt for their margaritas. FAIL.
Just really chaps my ass folks. So frustrating. When I go to a Tex-Mex, I am looking for homemade tortillas, fresh chips, nice decor and damn margarita salt that is grainy not fine.
While at lunch we quoted several lines of Katt Williams and Dave Chappelle, which lead me to the question, who do you think is better? I swear I think we could go an entire conversation in complete quotations.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC2dYVxO9vw
O boy. I can smell the crawfish in the air, and can imagine what a walk off home run is going to look like at new swayze with this . . . goosebumps....

I mean wow. The kid looks younger than I do. Damn. He has got some sick game at age 13, to be able to pull of a stunt like that. Wow, I can imagine what would happen if he got the chane to come to Oxford (MS) and step into Billiards. That teen would do work on some skeezers. Well I guess we tip our hat and move on, but wow.

TGIF
Top of the morning and delightful Friday to you. I suggest you go to www.pandora.com and put in Third Eye Blind, every song has been solid so far.
Anway, the Rebs locked up a 4 year deal with Tulane for a Home and Home series to start in 2010, on the same day that we switched around the schedule. Hmmm..... This is not Pete Boone working here, must be somebody else in Ole Miss athletics, rumor is that it is Brandon Hudspeth, I used to dominate him in on field BP freshmen year when the team was working out. Actually I don't know if it is Brandon, but I am pretty sure it's not our AD. Here is what Parish Alford of the Tupelo Daily Journal had to say ...
"Spoke to Pete Boone a few minutes ago. Still seeking a 12th football game, but that search will shift gears now that the ESPN Thursday with South Carolina has been finalized.
Pete mentioned TCU, Virginia and Indiana as possibilities. The most emphasis was on TCU, however. In fact, he said that if a deal could not be struck by Friday he would move forward with seeking out a Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA) buyout game.
A deal has been signed with Tulane for four games beginning in New Orleans in 2010."
I don't know what our athletic department is thinking with the 1-AA games, they are bush, and nobody goes to the game or the Grove. The Grove is a ghost town on those games, I would rather pay USC to come wax our ass. Even though next year will be tough, we are gonna be stout. Ole Miss fans are gonna be so freaking cocky, because we won the Cotton Bowl, and will be pre-season top 10. Lets just hope we don't find a way to shit on ourselves. I mean, we are Ole Miss right. Somehow our teams find away to do that.
Speaking of shitting on ourselves, lets hope this years baseball team doesn't catch the mid/late season shits like seasons prior.
05 vs Texas ... that was like this ....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52gUXdaV99k
06 vs Miami ... resembled .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7l6jg4Hlog
07 vs Arizona State ... my favorite .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhnNcHKOhyw
08 vs Miami regional ... well we weren't really supposed to make any noise.
09? Pre-Season #6 by Baseball America, New BallPark, TCU comes to town at the end of the month .... lets see what we can do to get over the hump, but I promise you if we make it to Omaha, that town does not know what could come their way. Lookout.
Nothing to happening in Memphis this weekend, no big concerts/plays/shows or anything. Minglewood hall opens up today for the Vigina Monologues. Sounds fun. I don't think the Grizz are intown. There have been reports of a possible 3 man trade to Phoenix for Amare Stodumaire, the Grizz would have to give up Mike Conely, Rudy Gay and Hakim Warick which seems like a lot but Amare is an All-Star. Shit anything to give this damn team a spark.
Heading to Oxford tonight, maybe I will see some of you tonight. Alright work time. But I will leave you with this question.
Would you rather see your team play in a National Championship or have VIP treatment at a SI swimsuit photo shoot? Hmmmmmm

Side note, fun activity for your pre-game efforts this weekend....

I wanna wash my car, it's so nice out but it is going to freaking rain tomorrow. It is really bugging me having my car be dirty.

Alright, back to work than spin class at Wellworx downtown, for any of you Memphians that are trying to look like a greek god like myself, feel free to join Cass and I at 6PM. The lady tonight is gonna whoop my ass. At least she plays some techno stuff that causes me to try to grind the air, much like the bass at the Lyric. Or so I hear...
O and if any of you blog savy people know how to ad a freaking video to the content, without just leaving a link......please advise.

Ole Miss Football
I don't know how I feel about this, right now I am indifferent as I was unlikely to make the trip to South Carolina anyway. Guess I will have to go to work hungover that day. At least it will be a Friday and might allow for either a trip to a different college town for a game, or a day of rest, college gameday and cooking....... we shall see. I wanna know who we are picking up for our final game already!!!!

Rules of engagement
So here are the rules for my blog.
1. I will post when I want, with no certain schedule in mind.
2. I am not a good speller, therefore if you try to make fun of me for it, odds are I will disregard the comment and find away to make fun of you. I will find a way.
3. There is no topic(s) that this will be geared to. Whatever I feel like.
4. If you don't like my blog, feel free not to read it.
5. I encourage interaction/discussion.
6. I will probably talk about Ole Miss, Food and whats going on in my life more than you might want to hear. But, this is my blog and I can blog if I want to, blog if I want to.......
------
Let the rambling beging.
So I am eating my lunch, for those of you who don't know .... I am on a diet, and diets suck but I am adjusting to it. Does it piss anyone else off when you get a 100 calorie pack of anything, and there only happens to be freaking 10 of whatever it is in the damn thing, in my case it is pringles. And I savor every freaking one and eat them individually. Then I eat a freaking kiddy sized sandwich, carrots and an apple. O well, I can feel my insides eating themselves, as there is plenty to eat off of. Then I go dominate spin class at night.
One of my favorite/only favorite thing about living in Memphis/Mud Island is driving down the street. It reminds me of the ole Frat Laps on campus in Oxford. Freaking amazing, but I swear if you don't pay attention: a)you will hit a car/person b)run into the grass and then a person c) go way under the speed limit. There are plenty of squirleys active on the island. And Miss Cordellias is money for squirle watching as well, for those unfamiliar, it is very similar to a Whole Foods/Fresh Market/Wild Oats/Central Market, but it's on the island and also the place where squirles tend to congragate.
I am going to Oxford tomorrow for Girl Talk, you can get tickets on Craigslist for freaking $125, that is ridiculous, but I am going have to say the Lyric is getting some good acts. Old Crow is Saturday and then David Cook on Sunday. That is solid for a town of 30K people. Citizen Cope was there this week, Keller William, Drive By Truckers, Eric Church are also slated for upcoming show. I have yet to go inside, but hear the bass alone has almost caused numerous pregnancies from all the grinding it causes you to do. Then you add a fog machine and strobe light, shit, you have the makings for a Panama City Spring Breakers dream bra. Foam machine, boy, you add one of those .... you better bring protection, and not a gun. You might wanna shower after also, just because they are bubbles, it doesn't mean they are clean.
I went and saw He's not that into you on Sunday, with Todd's girlfriend because he didn't wanna go. Don't make fun of me, when you are dying to see this crap http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMYyhBtQ1PU , get out of here with that hot garbage. Anyway, it was good, pretty funny actually. Scarlett Johanson and Jennifer Aniston looked so fine in the flick. Wowzers.
Well back to work, lunch breaks up. O yea, everytime I post I will do a Buy/Sell feature, that I would like some feedback with. It's fun, you'll see. Bart, Ben and I were doing it on G-chat today.
Soooooo here goes.
Going out on Valentines Day to the bar, single....... Buy/Sell

where all my single ladies at???

4. If you don't like my blog, feel free not to read it.
5. I encourage interaction/discussion.
6. I will probably talk about Ole Miss, Food and whats going on in my life more than you might want to hear. But, this is my blog and I can blog if I want to, blog if I want to.......
